Autonomous Robot for Smart Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance Using MATLAB

In the Systems Dynamics and Control Laboratory (MIE352), I developed and simulated an Autonomous Mobile Robot that can navigate intelligently and avoid obstacles in real time using MATLAB.

The robot is designed as a differential drive mobile robot (DDMR) and is capable of completing a predefined set of waypoints even in cluttered environments. What excites me the most is that the robot successfully achieved 100% waypoint completion with few collisions, ensuring safe and smooth navigation.
